Sign up, then verify your work email

Create your account with any email address and confirm the code we send. Then verify your work email with a second code. No ID, no badge photo, no phone number — once you're verified you show up to other members as a coworker, never as a stranger.

Share your commute preferences

Pick your building, the days you're in, and a pickup area you're happy to walk to. What counts most is geography — where you both work, and how far off their route you'd be — then the days you share, then how close your hours are, with a small bump if one of you has a parking spot. Every suggestion is explained in plain English.

Connect and carpool

Message your match inside the app, agree on a time and corner, and ride. Afterwards you each log how it went, which builds the reliability record shown beside someone's name, and you can rate a person you've actually ridden with. Nobody starts with either — they build up as people ride. Your phone number stays private unless you choose to share it.

Your four days aren't the same four days every week

Most people can't commit to a fixed carpool because the days move — a meeting lands on Thursday, a kid is sick on Tuesday. So iHopOn gives you two things instead of one: a standing group for the days you know about, and a day board for the days you don't.

  • Post a seat you have, or a seat you need, for one specific day.
  • People who commute your way are told — nobody has to keep checking.
  • Once someone takes it, you get a conversation to sort out where to meet.
